No axis is ratified as a carrier.
Four independent measurement rounds failed to reject the null hypothesis —
most recently PHI@1m at 4000 draws with p ≈ 0.65
against a correction threshold of 0.005116, measured 2026-08-22. An earlier finding
(p = 0.00995, measured 2026-08-22) turned out to be an
artefact of a moving data window and has been withdrawn.
KEEP / DEMOTE answers a different
question: redundancy between axes (max|corr|), not
carriage. An axis can be distinct and still carry nothing. KEEP is not proof.

One axis was replaced, not merely re-judged. SOLLSTAND-P1 full seven-axis realization: KEEP = {PHI, B, W, M, LAMBDA, PSI, CHI} (7/7); B activated via B′ (W-decoupled residual, coupling 0.969->0.041). — the table still lists it under its old label. The earlier DEMOTE verdict applied to the original quantity and is therefore not refuted but moot: something else is being measured now.
KEEP / DEMOTE is a redundancy verdict, not a performance verdict. An axis with max|corr| ≥ 0.9 re-measures what another already holds and is demoted. Neither does it follow that the remaining ones carry anything, nor that the demoted one was wrong.
